Many students begin college without a clear career goal in mind. They know the importance of an education, but not always what that education focus should be. Gail Weingast MD was just such a student. She began her college education by receiving a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Spanish from Tufts University. After that, she decided she wanted to become a doctor and went on to attend Boston University’s School of Medicine in Boston, MA earning her medical degree in 1976. Gail Weingast MD developed a deep passion for helping people and having a medical degree gave her a way to pursue her passion for helping people as a career.
